About

bob dickason

I started in the theatre as a performer at age 6 and have been mixed up in performance and areas needing visual impact ever since. I've been working professionally for more than 30 years and have experience in promotional and event design and production management.

I design in 3d CAD (VectorWorks on a Mac) and as I often build my own designs I have intimate hands-on knowledge of materials and techniques. I still design whenever possible for the theatre but have to face the economic realities, so don't do as much as I'd like.

I have special talents in lighting and audio design and work with on-screen multimedia as a basis for real-world, off-sceen interactive displays and presentation. This means entertainment robots and "push button" informational displays.

I generally hand write my web code and am conversant with html, php, sql, javascript and flash.

half twist design & production

was Bob Dickason's trading name from 1990 until April, 2000.

The Möbius strip used as a logo was and is of particular interest because of its unusual multi-dimensional properties.
