a galleon office

Our client wanted his home office remodelled to reflect his passion for things piratical and to show off his collection of nautical and colonial items.

The floor is planked and caulked; the beams, ribs and knees are boxed from MDF and the grain artworked. There is a period dockside scene visible through the diamond pane windows of the stern cabin.

The office features a genuine ship's cannon and lamps. It has several hidden compartments for fax machine, computer, etc.

The office area is entered via a corridor which appears to be inside a submarine. You pass through a concealed door beside the hatch (there is a private cinema through the hatchway) onto a period dockside with the side of a sqare rigger facing you. The office area also features a library and a museum.
