jungle restaurant
One of the themes of the Mummaluka Restaurant is "Where Indiana Jones meets Dr Livingstone on safari."
Guests enter the restaurant through a Victorian porch into a bar in the style of the British Raj or Raffles Hotel. The area is littered with luggage and the paraphernalia of a jungle expedition.
Going into the restaurant we appear to be in a workshop which has an old bi-plane crashed throught the ceiling;
...through an arch into the Lost City complete with idol;
...and into the final tented area which looks out on a small jungle and comes complete with anaconda.

The idea of the bi-plane crashed through the ceiling presented an interesting design challenge and after a little research I based the plane on a Steerman with seven cylinder Continental radial engine as was used to train many of America's WWII pilots.
Our pilot, Jimmy Junk, wasn't one of the lucky ones; possibly it was the aviation fuel he has in his hand.
