One of the most challenging projects I have undertaken, the Factory shows, via golf and ping-pong balls and ball bearings, the very complicated process, at the molecular level, used to create sugars from sunlight.
Visitors interact at seven stages during the process and are rewarded at the end of the process with a glucose sweet.
Control and switching are via five SPLat modules which are 8-in, 8-out programable cards which open and close relays to the 5 or 6 different power supplies used.
Input is largely via light sensitive switches and human intervention, output is to solenoids, motors, lights, audio cues, etc.
