st valentine's peak
by Franz Dockerty
A world premier, the season was staged in Hobart's intimate Peacock Theatre (seats 150). The play confronted issues including homosexuality and youth suicide.
The action occurred in a number of locations with a rather cinematic quality, so director Robert Jarman and I worked closely to achieve an evocative, but nonspecific setting.
The script required important information to be conveyed to the audience via video. We used a projection from the trusty Mac onto a moon shaped screen.
