Using javascript, calculators can be designed and programmed to calculate almost anything.

This one provides potential customers with an accurate estimate of the cost of their insect screens. It multiplies width by height by screen cost, adds the calculated perimeter and costs, applies a markup, multiplies by the quantity required and does all of this eight times providing both line totals and a grand total.

This calculator is used to compare floor covering widths and areas. Eg: broadloom metres to square metres or vice versa.

All these links, in addition to the final purpose, use simple javascripts to open a new window and describe whether the window has scroll bars, titles, etc. The attention dialogue boxes and the "Close Window" links on the pop-up windows are also javascripts.
